Five years after the U.S. Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking issued its unanimous and bipartisan recommendations to the President and Congress, two major pieces of legislation took steps to implement key recommendations from the commission. On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, the Data Foundation and the Bipartisan Policy Center held a discussion along with government officials and members of civil society about the progress to date and next steps in implementing the Evidence Commission’s vision and recommendations on the 5-year anniversary of its milestone report.
